Martians attack! Steven Spielberg's new War of the Worlds will scare you silly.

What if there really were intelligent life on Mars Scientists have long speculated about the possibility of life on Mars owing to the planet's proximity and similarity to Earth. It remains an open question whether life exists on Mars now, or existed there in the past.  and it came to Earth to wipe us out? If you've ever read The War of the Worlds, H. G. I think all special effects should have a basis in the known world of science.... In War of the Worlds, the aliens and their machines are done quite realistically, to make you believe that this catastrophic event of being invaded is really happening.

Do you think that there really are aliens living on other planets?

I absolutely believe that there is intelligent life in the universe.... In my heart, I feel that most of [those who might come here] will be friendly....
