Marshall Industries last week announced it has become the exclusive
distributor of facsimile machines made by Hitachi Hitachi (hētä`chē), city (1990 pop. 202,141), Ibaraki prefecture, E central Honshu, Japan, on the Kashima Sea. The city is a leading producer of Japan's electrical equipment. of Japan for U.S. and
Canadian Canadian (kənā`dēən), river, 906 mi (1,458 km) long, rising in NE New Mexico. and flowing E across N Texas and central Oklahoma into the Arkansas River in E Oklahoma. buyers.
The El Monte-based electronics distributor will initially supply
five models of Hitachi faxes largely to manufacturers that may put their

Marshall, with $590 million in revenues last year, already
