* MARSH AND MCLENNAN COS. named DAVID SPILLER chief executive
officer of reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter & Co. Salvatore D.
Zaffino, the outgoing CEO, continues as chairman.
Spiller has been president of Guy Carpenter and a member of the
firm's executive committee and management board since January 2006.
Before joining the company, he was CEO of Ben field Ltd. in London.
Also, the company has named JOHN DRZIK president of Mercer
Specialty Consulting Group, following the retirement of David J.
Morrison as president of the group and as president and chief executive
officer of its Mercer Management Consulting unit.
Drzik will continue as president of Mercer Oliver Wyman, a post he
has held since the firm's formation after Marsh & McLennan
acquired Oliver, Wyman & Co. in 2003.
