TONY FURTADO, stringed-instrument master from Colorado, returns to Eugene with his band for a show at the Wild Duck Music Hall at 9:30 p.m. today. Furtado, an accomplished banjo player who also plays acoustic and electric slide guitar, currently is moonlighting as a singer.

A CASE of mistaken identity puts the future of a struggling theater company into the hands of a wannabe actor in the holiday-themed comedy "Inspecting Carol," opening today at Actors Cabaret of Eugene.
