Market diary.Stocks rose again in the week ended July 20, as oil prices moderated, earnings reports beat forecasts and inflation remained in check. Local advances led declines 119 to 75, and 28 local stocks hit new highs, while only one--Anworth Mortgage Asset Corp.--hit a new low. Setting the pace was the biomedical bi·o·med·i·cal adj. 1. Losing ground were apparel, down 1.9 percent, energy and utilities, down 1.6 percent, and financial services, down 1.1 percent.
