Stocks rose again in the week ended July 20, as oil prices moderated, earnings reports beat forecasts and inflation remained in check. The Dow Jones Industrial Average Dow Jones Industrial Average

 and pharmaceutical sector, up 17.2 percent on Amgen's 17.7 percent surge to $81.17 a share. Also rising were the construction and engineering sector, logging a 4 percent gain, and automotive and plastics companies, up 2.7 percent.
