Mark Hodes Joins TicketsNow in Executive Customer Marketing Role; Inc. 500 Entertainment Technology Company Continues Development of Senior Leadership Team.


CHICAGO -- Mark Hodes, former head of Customer Relationship Marketing for renowned travel Web site Orbitz, has been named Senior Vice President, Customer Marketing, for TicketsNow (www.TicketsNow.com), an Inc. 500 entertainment technology company that hosts and operates the world's largest, most secure online marketplace for premium tickets to entertainment events worldwide. He reports to Chief Marketing Officer, Kenneth Dotson.

Hodes, 43, will oversee all email marketing, customer loyalty, company-wide marketing infrastructure, and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) An integrated information system that is used to plan, schedule and control the presales and postsales activities in an organization.  functions. Prior to Orbitz, Hodes served as a Senior Vice President at Digitas, where he ran CRM engagements for Fortune 50 clients. He was also a Managing Director and member of the Worldwide Operating Board for Ogilvy One. Previous to Ogilvy, Mark served as Senior Vice President and General Manager at iXL and as a Vice President at Modem Media. He also served on the executive management team at Brightstreet, a Cupertino, Calif.-based Series A startup that was later acquired by e-Centives. A native of Kansas City Kansas City, two adjacent cities of the same name, one (1990 pop. 149,767), seat of Wyandotte co., NE Kansas (inc. 1859), the other (1990 pop. 435,146), Clay, Jackson, and Platte counties, NW Mo.
