MARJORIE KELLOGG Marjorie Kellogg (July 17, 1922 - December 19, 2005) was an American author born in Santa Barbara, California.

Kellogg attended the University of California, Berkeley where she later dropped out and left for San Francisco to pursue a career in writing.
, 83, an author and playwright whose many works often featured characters with mental and physical illnesses, of complications from Alzheimer's disease Alzheimer's disease (ăls`hī'mərz, ôls–), degenerative disease of nerve cells in the cerebral cortex that leads to atrophy of the brain and senile dementia.  at her home in Santa Barbara Santa Barbara (săn'tə bär`brə, –bərə), city (1990 pop. 85,571), seat of Santa Barbara co., S Calif., on the Pacific Ocean; inc. 1850. , Calif., December 19. Kellogg, who is survived by longtime partner Sylvia Short, was best known for the book Tell Me That You Love Me, Junie Moon.
