Marco's Pizza to Expand to Tampa, Florida; Ohio Couple Agrees to Build/Develop up to 10 Units.

Jack Butorac, Jr., president of Marco's Franchising, who has put the 27-year-old Toledo, OH based Marco's chain on a growth pattern to open 500 units by 2010, announced the area agreement.

Bruce Raber, a 30-year production manager in the automotive and construction industries, and Kitte Raber, with 34-years of experience in residential lighting and retail management, said the appeal of being an entrepreneur entrepreneur (än'trəprənûr`) [Fr.,=one who undertakes], person who assumes the organization, management, and risks of a business enterprise. , the good product and image of Marco's Pizza, and the large contingent of Ohio natives living in Florida, encouraged them to switch careers and become Marco's franchisees.

The Rabers will open Marco's Pizzas in Pasco and Hernando Counties in the Tampa area, with the first unit scheduled for opening this fall at 9338 Little Road, Newport Richey, and a second unit at 14301 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill. The Rabers also will sub-franchise stores in the area.

The Rabers will introduce Florida consumers to Marco's Ah! Thentic Italian Pizza. Italian native Pasquale "Pat" Giammarco, who used many of his family recipes in developing the chain, founded Marco's. The Marco's menu also includes fresh baked subs, chicken wings Chicken Wings can refer to:

The Raber's franchise company, R&R Pizza Group, LLC, will be a family affair, with their daughter Melissa Raber-Salazar serving as general manager for the organization. She has experience in both property management and food operations and is a graduate of Dunkin Donuts donuts - (Obsolete) A collective noun for any set of memory bits.
