"Location-based services have huge potential for generating profits for mobile operators. However, if an operator is to invest in and deploy LBS applications it needs to be confident in its business case and 100 percent certain of its operational success," said Larry Delaney, director, location-based services, MapInfo. "Throughout our ongoing project, Siemens and Vodafone set MapInfo some extremely rigorous trials that enabled miAware to establish industry credibility where other solutions have not. The pricing announced today complements our technical excellence and will enable operators to rationalize ra·tion·al·ize
