Manhattan Mall's got game with new store.

The newly repositioned Manhattan Mall, at the heart of Manhattan's 34th Street shopping district, has announced the opening of a one-of-a-kind Madison Square Garden retail store.

The 1,600 s/f store sells team merchandise for the New York Knicks basketball team, New York Rangers hockey team and New York Liberty women's basketball team.

The store, which opened on Nov. 25, features a box office where shoppers can purchase tickets to all Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall events.

Visitors can also look forward to special appearances by New York sports celebrities throughout the month of December. "Manhattan Mall is very proud to host the only Madison Square Garden retail store," said Mark Teitelbaum, Chief Operating Officer of Manhattan Mall owner Argent Ventures.

"The MSG store is a wonderful complement to the mall's 50 other quality retail stores. MSG is a hallmark of New York culture, and we look forward to a long-standing relationship."

The Madison Square Garden store is located on Level 1 in the Manhattan Mall at Avenue of the Americas between 32nd and 33rd Streets.

Located just one block away from Madison Square Garden, the busy shopping area attracts visitors from around the world. The area is also a major transportation hub, with the Manhattan Mall building's concourse offering access to nine subway lines and the N.J. PATH train, New York Penn Station one block away, and another seven subway lines within a one-block radius.

The new Manhattan Mall consists of 155,000 s/f of retail space below an 800,000 s/f office building.

Tenants include the new Food Court, Charlotte Russe, Brookstone, Aeropostale, Strawberry, Express, Victoria's Secret, Children's Place, Body Shop, Nine West, Radio Shack, Aeropostale, KB Toys, Motherhood Maternity and Wet Seal.
