Manhattan Auto breaks ground for renovation of old facility.

Transforming its business to fit the needs of their customers, Manhattan Auto Group will unveil the new plans for the $15 million renovation including the updated showroom and service facilities.

The new Manhattan Auto Group facility features a 30-foot high atrium atrium (ā`trēəm), term for an interior court in Roman domestic architecture and also for a type of entrance court in early Christian churches. The Roman atrium was an unroofed or partially roofed area with rooms opening from it.  and circular balustrade, brand exclusive "lifestyle theme salons" and a designer cafe.

From the innovative showroom experience of presenting and demonstrating a car in a lifestyle setting to making the service experience both comfortable and efficient, Manhattan Auto Group will make shopping for a car seamless and owning one convenient. In addition to the cafe designed into the renovated facility, the showroom salon Salon, annual exhibition of art works chosen by jury and presented by the French Academy since 1737; it was originally held in the Salon d'Apollon of the Louvre. By the mid-19th cent. the Salon had become an expression of conservative, established tastes in art.  includes, among other amenities, a fully functional rock-climbing wall in the Ford Outfitters Center. Each brand will feature its own identity in the new facility, and automobile buyers will for the first time find excitement and elegance in their visit to an automobile showroom.
