, Calif. -- MoBay Management Company is proud to announce the grand opening of Mango Caribbean Restaurant & Bar, located off of University Avenue in the heart of downtown Palo Alto. As part of the grand opening celebrations, a free appetizer or dessert will be served in gratitude to the first 25 customers, scheduled for 5:00pm on April 1, 2006. Mango Caribbean is located on 435 Hamilton Avenue, in between Cowper Street and Waverley Avenue.

Mango Caribbean Restaurant & Bar will feature a variety of authentic Caribbean dishes, including BBQ BBQ barbecue  shrimp blanketed on mango salsa, curried goat, garlic chicken sided with fried plantain

Fried plantain is an African dish cooked wherever plantains grow, from West Africa through Central Africa to East Africa.

Upon entering the restaurant, the atmosphere is reminiscent of a Caribbean vacation. The walls are vividly colored -- showcasing portraits of the islands, while banana and bamboo plants sit sparkling from color votives surrounding the room.
