Managing your buildings in under 12 minutes a day.

US Energy Group's newly-released USE MANAGER[TM] has revolutionized the way property owners and managers control their buildings' energy consumption, integrating information from an entire portfolio of buildings simultaneously.

Property owners and managers have been quick to declare the Internet-based building monitoring and management system a major breakthrough because they can oversee all of their properties in just minutes a day from anywhere in the world.

They can instantly view operational issues and "alerts" needing immediate attention, efficiently delegate A person who is appointed, authorized, delegated, or commissioned to act in the place of another. Transfer of authority from one to another. A person to whom affairs are committed by another.

repair and maintenance work, address city violations, monitor and conserve fuel usage and save money.

A team of live portfolio managers, called "Efficiency Drivers," monitors the information and personally recommends specific ways to fine-tune the buildings. The USE Manager integrates information from the USE Controller Energy Management System (EMS) and the USE Verifier[TM] Digital Fuel Gauge.

The USE Manager[TM] contains many levels of information, and the Executive Overview is the top layer--the action-based daily summary.

The perfect tool for a busy top executive overseeing numerous properties, the Executive Overview integrates and condenses the most essential information requiring immediate action, and delivers it via email at the start of each day.

The report focuses on just the most important items, and the "Efficiency Drivers" personally recommend steps to address them. With just a few clicks of a button, property managers can compare, evaluate and calibrate To adjust or bring into balance. Scanners, CRTs and similar peripherals may require periodic adjustment. Unlike digital devices, the electronic components within these analog devices may change from their original specification. See color calibration and tweak.  all of their buildings for peak operating efficiency.

The USE Manager[TM] also maintains detailed historical records for each individual property and synthesizes this information for comparison and budgetary purposes.

Managers can "drill down" into the information, make individual building adjustments, and fine-tune efficiencies.

The system monitors all of the important boiler-related functions and apartment temperatures, tracks and compares oil and gas purchases and usage, and audits fuel bills with real-time pricing.

The USE Manager is designed to integrate a range of building-wide communications, back-office management and administrative services.

"As the owner of my own portfolio of buildings, I designed the USE Manager[TM] to provide the key information that I always needed in a useful format," said Jerry Pindus, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization.  information that owners and managers need."

HOW IT WORKS

1. ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EMS)--installed

The USE Manager[TM] synthesizes information from the USE Controller Energy Management System (EMS). The EMS, which guarantees in writing a minimum 15% savings on fuel consumption and returns investment in less than two years, is designed to control the cycling of the boiler boiler, device for generating steam. It consists of two principal parts: the furnace, which provides heat, usually by burning a fuel, and the boiler proper, a device in which the heat changes water into steam.  much more efficiently than old systems relying on one outdoor sensor, generally referred to as a "heat timer timer,
n radiographic timing device that functions as an automatic exposure timer and a switch to control the current to the high-tension transformer and filament transformer. The face of the timer is calibrated in seconds and fractions of seconds.

buildings and causing residents to open their windows in the middle of the winter--literally throwing money out the window. Instead, the USE Controller EMS adds a number of strategically placed sensors within the building's interior.

The EMS computer weighs the outside temperature against the different inside temperatures obtained from the sensors and schedules the boiler to operate efficiently to heat the building to exactly the right level. Installing an EMS is the single most cost-effective way to retrofit ret·ro·fit

2. THE VERIFIER[TM] DIGITAL FUEL GAUGE--installed

The USE Manager[TM] also integrates information from The Verifier[TM] Digital Fuel Gauge, an advanced ultrasonic ultrasonic /ul·tra·son·ic/ (-son´ik) beyond the upper limit of perception by the human ear; relating to sound waves having a frequency of more than 20,000 Hz.

The Verifier[TM] confirms an oil delivery within 1/10th of an inch, recording the date, time and exact amount of oil delivered to the tank.

It also maintains extensive inventory records and provides alerts to avoid costly "run-outs" or leaks.
