The National School Board Association seeks an experienced
professional to manage the day-to day operations of its human resources
department. Responsibilities include the oversight of HR information
management, compensation and benefits, recruitment and employment
activities; assisting with policy and program development, and employee
communications; monitoring and ensuring compliance with applicable
employment laws and regulations; and assisting with training assessment
and development activities. A bachelor's degree in a related field
or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required,
along with three years generalist experience in human resources. The
ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication
skills, and knowledge of adult learning principles, training design, and
development. Experience with program management, policy development,
HRIS, or database management is preferred.
