American ORT announced that Paul B. Firstenberg has been named executive director of the firm.

Prior to joining the American ORT, Firstnberg served as a general partner with Zuckerman, Firstenberg & Co., where he advised the Russian government on the creation of a private, real estate market. He also worked with the Polish American Enterprise Fund to provide capital to housing developers in Poland.

Firstenberg is a member of the Ford Foundation and the Vanguard Group of Investment Companies. He is the author of several books on non-profit organizations.

Sinvin Realty Corp. announced that Roxanne Betesh has joined the company as vice president.

Betesh has five years of experience in tenant and landlord representation. Prior to joining Sinvin, she served as vice president at Tarter Stats Realty, where her client list included such firms as M4rc Jacobs, Issey Miyake, and MoneyLine.

The Community Preservation Corporation announced the appointment of James P. Millard as mortgage analyst.
