Rothman holds a B.A. from the California Institute of the Arts and an A.S. from The Fashion Institute of Technology. He is a member of the Young Men's/Women's Real Estate Association and the Real Estate Board of New York.

The Appraisal Institute announced that James A. Cowan has been elected president of its Long Island Chapter for 2002.

Cowan has more than 30 years of experience as an appraiser. Currently, he serves as president of J.A. Cowan & Associates, Inc.

Cowan holds a B.A. from St. Bonaventure University. He is a certified New York State appraiser.

The Staubach Company announced that J.C. Giordano has been appointed as principal of the firm.

Giordano has more than 20 years of experience in commercial brokerage. Prior to joining the Staubach Company, he served as a broker at Cushman Realty Corp. His client list includes such firms as Bear Stearns, Nextel Communications, and First Union National Bank.
