W. P. Carey & Co. announced the election of Anne R. Coolidge as president of Corporate Property Associates 15, the firm's new real estate investment trust.

Coolidge currently serves as a key member of the firm's acquisition team. She joined the firm in 1993 as an assistant to the chairman and has progressed to the title of executive director.

Coolidge received an A.B. from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Columbia University's graduate school of business.

The Kalian Companies and Spectrum/Skanska announced that Gail Fischer has been named sales manager for Encore Monroe, an active adult community in Monroe, N.J. which is being developed as a joint venture by the two firms.

Fischer is a 16-year veteran of residential real estate. Prior to joining Encore Monroe, she was sales manager for Diversified Properties.

Fischer has also worked as a sales associate at prominent realty offices such as Century 21 and Weichert Realtors.

Houlihan/Lawrence announced that Ann Farese has joined its Yorktown office as a sales associate.

Previously, Farese worked as a sales agent and processing manager for Weichert Realtors.

She is a consistent producer and has won the Silver Award from the Westchester Multiple Listing Service in 1999.

Rockwood Realty Associates, LLC announced the appointment of Jonathan I. Goldberg as associate vice president in the firm's New York office. In this capacity, Goldberg will be responsible for conducting investment analysis, as well as assisting in the marketing of investment properties and asset management of investment properties that are being held for disposition.

Prior to joining Rockwood Realty Associates, Goldberg served as manager of advisory services for E&Y Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group, a division of Ernst & Young, LLP. While there, Goldberg performed investment valuation and conducted due diligence of real estate assets, investments, and loan portfolios. His clients included Reckson Associates Realty Corp., GMAC, and J.P. Morgan.

Goldberg holds a B.S. in business economics from the State University of New York at Oneonta and an M.B.A. in banking and finance from Hofstra University Frank G. Zarb School of Business.

ACC Construction Corp. announced that Kenneth P. Martin has joined the firm as chief financial officer. In his new position, Martin will oversee all of ACC's financial and administrative functions, including accounting, human resources, and legal administration.

Martin brings more than 17 years of financial experience to ACC. Previously, he held the position of chief financial officer at OneSource-New York, Inc.

Martin earned a B.S. in business administration/finance from Northeastern University. He also holds an M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Management at Suffolk University.

The Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group announced that Andrew Weiss has joined the firm.

Weiss will focus on originating debt and equity investment transactions.

Weiss has fifteen years of experience in real estate finance and acquisitions. Prior to joining Ackman-Ziff, he served as president of AW Capital Corporation, where he concentrated on raising capital and providing consultation services for real estate owners.

ACC Construction Corp. has named Todd Schwartz as senior vice president of operations. In his new position, Schwartz will be responsible for the firm's day-to-day operations, including client management, project scheduling, and contract negotiations.

Schwartz has more than 14 years of experience in construction management, general contracting, and environmental remediation. Prior to joining ACC, he held senior management positions at such companies as Par Environmental, Builders Group, and Condor. Among his projects is the Amtrak High Speed Rail improvement, ABC Capital Cities' broadcasting facility, and the Brooklyn Air Terminal.

Schwartz received a B.A. in communications from Pace University.

The New York City Economic Development Corporation has appointed Alan B. Friedberg to its board of directors as a member of the executive and real estate committees.

Currently, Friedberg serves as president of Alan B. Friedberg Realty Investment and Development Corp. In that role, he has been responsible for the development of such hotels and apartment buildings as The Sutton at E. 56th St., the Nevada Towers, and the Brevard Apartments.

Friedberg is a graduate of New York University. He is the recipient of the Associated Builders of Greater New York's "Lifetime Achievement" award and a. member of the board of directors of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the Transportation, Taxi, & Limousine Advisory Group, and the Educational Alliance of New York.

Goldin Associates, LLC announced that Mark Slane has joined the firm as a managing director.

Prior to joining Goldin Associates, Slane served as head of corporate restructuring at the Bank of New York.

The Staubach Company announced that Robin Klein has joined the firm as director of the retail services division in its New York office.

In her new position, Klein will be responsible for developing new business relationships with fashing retailers across the United States.

Klein has more than eighteen years of experience in commercial real estate, including leasing, operation, marketing, and construction. Prior to joining Staubach, she served as a leasing executive for Chelsea Property Group. While there, she was in charge of developing strategic relationships with luxury fashion designers and anchor tenants.

Rand Engineering, P.C. announced that Ivan Mrakovcic has joined the firm. He will be responsible for a wide range of exterior and interior restoration projects.

Prior to joining Rand Engineering, Mrakovcic worked at James D'Auria & Associates and Rosenblum/Harb, where he led office, store, and showroom projects. Among his clients are such retailers as Barneys New York, Bloomingdale's, and Brioni.

Mrakovcic holds a B.A. in architecture from the New York Institute of Technology. He is the founding member of Richmond Hill Historical Society and a member of Queens Community Board #9 land use committee.

Advanced TelCom Group, Inc. announced that Louis Casale has joined the company as account executive at its White Plains regional office. In his new position, Casale will be responsible for sales of voice and data services throughout Westchester county.

Previously, Casale served as lead sales support manager at SBC Communications.

Casale received an associate of arts degree in business from the State University of New York. He has also completed training programs such as the Foundations of Leadership. He resides in Yonkers, N.Y.

Cushman & Wakefield announced that Bruce E. Mosler, the firm's president of U.S. operations, received the "Interpid Salute" award for 2001 from the Intrepid Museum Foundation. The award recognizes business achievement and support of important philanthropic activities.

As C&W's president of U.S. operations, Mosler is responsible for the strategic direction, business growth, and profitability of the firm in the U.S. region. Previously, Mosler was executive vice president of the firm. Among his most notable transactions is the consolidation of Reuters America Holdings, Inc. at 3 Times Square and the Hennes & Mauritz 32,000 SF lease for its flagship store on Fifth Ave.

Mosler is a member of the board of the Intrepid Museum Foundation, the board of directors of the Modell Foundation, and the board of governors and executive committee of the Real Estate Board of New York.

Teresa Tota, CPM, has been named 2002 president of the Institute of Real Estate Management's Greater New York Chapter.

Tota currently serves as vice president at R.Y. Management, where she manages residential properties, including cooperatives, condominiums, and affordable housing units. She is a certified property manager, a certified real estate broker, and a certified credit compliance professional. Tota is also a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and the National Association of Home Builders.

Tota holds a B.A. in business economics from the State University of New York. She resides in New York City with her husband.
