Management Changes at Crown Andersen Inc. Operations.Business Editors ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 8, 2000 Crown Andersen Inc. (NASDAQ:CRAN), the Peachtree City, Georgia-based supplier of engineered products and systems for environmental control and waste processing, today announced one management addition and one promotion at two of its operations. At the Andersen 2000 Inc. operation in Peachtree City, Georgia USA, Mr. H.E. (Sam) Snyder, Jr. has joined the company as Operations Manager, responsible for the engineering groups, the purchasing and procurement groups, and all project management activities. Mr. Snyder most recently held a similar position at Howden Fan in Buffalo, New York. Mr. Snyder grew up in the air pollution control business, starting in 1971 at Research Cottrell in New Jersey, and moving to Howden in 1998. At Research Cottrell, he managed the drafting and design group initially, and later served as project manager on hundreds of projects with values up to $75 million. He also served as manager of construction services and international purchasing operations. At Crown Andersen's Montair Andersen b.v. operation in Sevenum, The Netherlands, Drs. Rene Francken Hieronymus Francken, c.1540–1610, student of Frans Floris, who worked mainly in Antwerp in a classicist style; his brother Frans Francken, c.1542–1616, also a student of Floris, whose altarpiece in the Antwerp cathedral is a typical work; Frans Francken II, 1581–1642, son of the first Frans, who studied in Italy and was influenced by Rubens and whose Works of Mercy (Antwerp) and Prodigal Son has been promoted to the position of Managing Director and will manage financial, administrative, sales, and engineering activities, while Mr. Ton Wagemans will serve as Managing Director for manufacturing and for custom equipment design and fabrication activities. Drs. Francken has served as Administrative and Sales Manager at Montair Andersen for 13 years and has served on the Crown Andersen Board of Directors for the past two years. All three of the Crown Andersen operations have reported substantial backlog increases with several large projects having been recently booked. Crown Andersen expects substantial revenues and earnings growth in fiscal 2001 and will be adding to its staff at all three operations - Andersen 2000 Inc., Griffin Environmental Company, Inc., and Montair Andersen b.v. - in early 2001. |
