ReView Video unveiled its Gold Seal Managed service program to
track audiovisual See A/V. assets. A new addition to the company's Gold Seal
line of services, Gold Seal Managed is designed to help universities
manage their AV assets (codec (1) (enCOder/DECoder) A hardware circuit that performs analog-to-digital conversion (ADC) and digital-to-analog (DAC) conversion. When analog signals are entered into a computer, cellphone or other device via a microphone or video source such as VHS tape or analog TV, devices, display devices, video switchers,
audio processors, document cameras, etc.) with the same familiarity used
to manage IT assets. Gold Seal Managed is powered by software from
Simtrol, a designer and developer of Windowsbased control software
solutions that enable enterprise-wide command, control monitoring and
diagnostics (1) Software routines that test hardware components (memory, keyboard, disks, etc.). Diagnostics are often stored in ROM chips and activated on startup.
