It is the proactive use of aircraft data systems to reduce operational risk. This process will identify human error (a causal factor in 70 to 80 percent of aviation mishaps) on a near real-time basis and provide the tools to measure the effectiveness of intervention strategies. "We are exceptionally well-qualified for this task given our Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Maturity Level 3 capabilities, and our expertise in knowledge management, software development, and systems engineering," said Kenneth J. Farquhar, President of ManTech Systems Engineering Corporation. "Our defined processes readily support the performance-based work required by the MFOQA program which focuses on providing critical flight data analysis, pos-mission aircrew debriefs, and aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting information to NAVAIR."
