ManTech Wins $10M U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Contract to Provide Security Solutions.

FAIRFAX, Va. -- ManTech International Corporation (Nasdaq:MANT), a leading provider of innovative technologies and solutions focused on mission-critical national security programs for the Intelligence Community; and the Departments of Defense, State, Homeland Security, and Justice; the Space Community; and other U.S. federal government customers, announced today that it was awarded a subcontract to provide the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, AL, with electronic security systems to Army bases in the U.S. and overseas. ManTech is a subcontractor to LVW Electronics, Colorado Springs, which was one of ten companies to receive contracts totaling $500 million. The contracts have a one-year base, with four, one-year option periods. The estimated value of the contract to ManTech, over the five-year performance period, is $10 million.

Under the contract, ManTech will assist LVW with developing and maintaining electronic security systems that will provide physical security for facilities and personnel of the U.S. Army and other government agencies. Electronic security systems include intrusion detection sensors, closed-circuit television, access-control systems, and command and control systems.
