ManTech Awarded $27.5 Million Contract from the U.S. Air Force for Security Support to the Joint Strike Fighter Program.

FAIRFAX, Va. -- ManTech International Corporation (Nasdaq:MANT), a leading provider of innovative technologies and solutions focused on mission-critical national security programs for the Intelligence Community and the Departments of Defense, State, Homeland Security, Justice and other U.S. federal government customers, announced today that it has been awarded a contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide security services to the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program. The competitively awarded contract is for one year, and has four option years for a total potential value to ManTech of $27.5 million.

ManTech will provide a full dimension of integrated security support services to the JSF program, the next generation strike fighter that will be used by the U.S. Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and eight foreign partners. ManTech services include physical security, information security, anti-tamper, technology assessment, certification and accreditation, foreign disclosure and systems security engineering. ManTech professionals produce vulnerability assessments and help define a risk management process. That process must consider many factors, such as the need for access to highly classified materials balanced against the risk of inadvertent disclosure or the compromise of critical technologies.
