It became a permanent post in 1932. In the steel and concrete vaults of the U.S. Depository there, the bulk of the nation's gold bullion is stored. "This contract allows us to expand our work at Fort Knox, particularly in training support," said Eugene C. Renzi, President of ManTech's Defense Systems Group. "Facilities such as Fort Knox, which offers training for urban warfare, are providing critical services as our armed forces personnel wage battles in many urban environments around the world. We are proud to support this effort which plays a vital role in our nation's national security."

In addition to the training support activities at Fort Knox, ManTech also provides training in information system security for a variety of organizations in the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community, and other training for the Navy, Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Air Force Air Combat Command, Defense Logistics Agency and the Defense Information Systems Agency.
