Man stabbed in street row.A MAN is recovering in hospital after being stabbed in the chest.
The incident happened early on Sunday at around 3.50am following a house party in Gough Road, Ely, Cardiff.
The 26-year-old victim is believed to have been arguing with another man when the incident escalated. There was a scuffle and the pair traded blows in the street, but it was only after the suspect ran off, that the 26-year-old discovered he had been stabbed seven times in the chest.
He was taken by ambulance to the University Hospital of Wales University Hospital of Wales (referred to locally as "the Heath" or UHW), opened in 1971, is situated on the outskirts of central Cardiff, Wales.
It is also the third largest University Hospital in the United Kingdom providing 24 hour Accident & Emergency and various .
His condition is not said be life-threatening and he is currently recovering from a punctured lung as well as other injuries to his left side. There was a large number of other people in the street at the time, who had all attended the party, but at this stage it is not known what weapon was used in the attack.
