Man raped drunk boy in home.
Liverpool Crown Court heard that Brian Clifford,47, found the teenager on the ground drunk outside his home after he had become separated from friends in Southport. David Owen, prosecuting, saidClifford was standing by the doorstep of his home in London Street on September 10 last year.
He assured a passing police patrol he was looking after the boy.
The teenager, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, passed out and awoke to find the older man pulling his clothes off. He then raped him. During Clifford's trial, the victim told the court: ``When I realised what he was doing,I was scared.''
As well as jailing him for five years,Judge David Boulton ordered him to sign the Sex Offenders'Register for life.
