Man escapes serious injury in Lancaster rollover accident.

LANCASTER - A South Lancaster man escaped serious injury after he was involved in a rollover accident on Langen Road Wednesday night.

Brian Baxendale, 29, of 124 South Main St., South Lancaster, was driving a blue 2004 Hyundai Turbo just before 9 p.m., when he came around the corner and flipped his car, police said Thursday morning.

The accident was still under investigation and no information on the cause was available when The Item went to press.

A Sterling ambulance with advanced life support was called in to transport Baxendale to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, where a hospital spokesman said he was treated and released.
