Man dies after fight in club.

A MURDER probe was launched yesterday after a Christmas nightclub party ended in tragedy.

A young man was found dying from stab wounds in Union Street, Aberdeen, after a brawl.

Three men were last night being quizzed by officers from Grampian Police over the incident.

The dead man, who has not been named, is from the city's Torry area.

It is understood he was involved in a fight inside the Cotton Club with men from the Kincorth area.

Bouncers ejected both groups of men from the club but the trouble continued outside.

The victim was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where he died shortly afterwards.
