Man's best friend X2.
The Model 141SBT Nimravus Tanto from Benchmade was developed in
response to requests from Special Operations personnel on both the Law
Enforcement and Military fronts who were satisfied with the Nimravus
design, but preferred the altered blade shape. In use, the 141SBT is a
well-balanced, lightweight tool that feels as if the handle was molded
for each hand that holds it. The knife travels into and out of its
three-point locking sheath effortlessly--the sheath lock is thumb
activated for a quick release. An 11.43 cm-long stainless steel tanto
blade with a .30-cm thickness offers endless persuasive possibilities.
Overall length of the tool is 24 cm yet weighs only 176 grams. The
original model 140 (same knife, different blade style) carries a US
military NSN, but it is the tanto blade type that has traditionally been
favoured by the special operations teams.
