Maloney Vision Institute's Gift of Sight Program Offers Lasik and Vision Correction Surgery to Quadriplegic Patients at No Charge.


LOS ANGELES Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  -- Dr. Robert K. Maloney of the Maloney Vision Institute in Los Angeles, Calif., along with other doctors including Dr. Daniel Durrie of Durrie Vision in Overland, Kansas, is launching a national program, called the Gift of Sight, in which eye surgeons provide LASIK LASIK laser-assisted in-situ keratomileusis.

Approximately 10,000 new spinal cord injuries (SCIs) occur each year in the United States.
