Making the best use of available customer data.

Is your bank mining all that valuable data from customers' checks? Wausau Financial Systems (WFS), Mosinee, Wisc., is showcasing two systems, Optimas3 DocumentAnlayzer and KnowledgeSource, which generate more customer data for financial institutions.

This customer data helps banks in referring existing and prospective clients to the tight products; in retaining customers; in cross selling; and in acquiring new customers, according to Dave LeBeau, executive vice president of marketing and product development at the company.

DocumentAnalyzer allows institutions to mine data from checks and other documents. This data can be used in the bank's marketing efforts to more effectively target prospects.

KnowledgeSource allows banks to integrate data from a variety of sources, such as checking and savings accounts, into one locale. www.wausaufs.com
