 Hotel Group, which recently finished renovating the Pacifica Shores Hotel in Santa Monica Santa Monica (săn`tə mŏn`ĭkə), city (1990 pop. 86,905), Los Angeles co., S Calif., on Santa Monica Bay; inc. 1886. Tourism and retailing are important, and the city has motion-picture, biotechnology, and software industries.  and renaming it The Viceroy, is undertaking another rehab project.

The group, headed by Brad Korzen, recently purchased the 112-room Summeffield Suites in West Hollywood West Hollywood

A community of southern California northeast of Beverly Hills. It is mainly residential. Population: 36,600.
. The company plans to renovate the hotel next year.

Built in 1976, the property will be turned into a boutique inn much like The Avalon and Maison 140 in Beverly Hills Beverly Hills, city (1990 pop. 31,971), Los Angeles co., S Calif., completely surrounded by the city of Los Angeles; inc. 1914. The largely residential city is home to many motion-picture and television personalities. , also owned by Kor.

Kor, a real estate investment, development and management firm based in Los Angeles, also plans to spend $11 million next year to renovate the 313-room Four Points Hotel in Santa Monica, now operated by Starwood. It will be reflagged as a Sheraton hotel.
