Makers of Double-Take Expand Xcelerate Partner Program by Increasing Partnerships and Introducing New Marketing Program.

 Software Exceeds Expansion Goals Set Forth in January, Adding 57 Partners This Year and Providing Increased Assistance for Selling Double-Take

NSI Software, Inc. (NSI(R)), developer of Double-Take(R), the most relied upon solution for continuous data protection and application availability, today announced significant expansion and new offerings to its channel. In 2005, the Company has added a Silver level to its Xcelerate program, increased its total number of partners to 150, and implemented a new Xcelerate QuickGen Program to help partners drive leads and create awareness.

Benchmarks in the Xcelerate program this year include:

--Tremendous growth in number of partners: Over 50 new domestic partners added this year, including two new Platinum partners and 23 Gold partners

--New Silver Level: Created as a result of the program's rapid expansion to enable partners to grow into NSI

In order to continue its momentum this year, and strengthen its commitment to its Xcelerate Partners, NSI is offering a newly developed marketing program to help partners promote Double-Take and increase their sales leads. The new Xcelerate QuickGen Program enables partners to select from a menu of predefined marketing campaigns.

As part of the new QuickGen Program, NSI has:

--Negotiated programs with leading vendors, like TechTarget, WinITPro, SQL Server An earlier relational DBMS from Sybase and from Microsoft. Sybase introduced SQL Server in 1988 for various Unix versions. In that same year, with help from IBM, Sybase created an OS/2 version that Microsoft licensed and branded as Microsoft SQL Server.  Magazine and Network World, who have longstanding relationships with NSI and have proven the quality of their programs and the leads they deliver.

--Secured a range of lead generation programs, including whitepaper syndications, newsletter sponsorships, banner placement, co-branded email blasts and more. These programs have been selected based on the strong results they have generated for NSI.

--Developed pre-approved creative campaigns that can be co-branded by the partners to quickly and easily get lead generation programs underway.

In addition to the QuickGen Program NSI continues to support its partners with a broad range of programs, including:

--Lead sharing/passing: NSI passes leads from its own demand generation programs directly to channel partners

--Xcelerate Partner Portal: Newly redesigned portal gives partners easy access to leads, marketing programs, collateral and more.

--Opportunity registration: All Xcelerate partners can register opportunities and if approved, can receive additional discount points.

--Market Development Funds: Partners earn market development funds MDF or Market Development funds are funds given by the sale or marketing department from a vendor to help a partner to sell its products or to market its brand. Also named "coop budget" as cooperative budgets.  (MDF (1) (Main Distribution Frame) A wiring rack that connects outside lines with internal lines. It is used to connect public or private lines coming into the building to internal networks. ) that they can use on pre-approved marketing activities.

--Participation in NSI sponsored demand generation activities including: seminars, webinars, tradeshows and other marketing programs.
