Conference to chart strategies for wealth building

In January 2000, BLACK ENTERPRISE magazine launched its Black Wealth Initiative, which has at its core a Declaration of Financial Empowerment. In keeping with the magazine's goal, the Fifth Annual Black Enterprise Entrepreneurs Conferences, to be held May 10-14 at Disney's Contemporary Resort Disney's Contemporary Resort is located at Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Florida. It is owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company, first opened October 1, 1971, at which time it featured state-of-the-art facilities.  in Orlando, Florida The city of Orlando is a major city in central Florida and is the county seat of Orange County, Florida. According to the 2000 census, the city population was 185,951. A 2006 U.S. , will offer an agenda which focuses on bold moves for increasing the bottom line of African American-owned companies.

"The entire program will look at how entrepreneurs can tap into various sources of financing, manage their business assets and reach out to new markets to gain economic strength;' says Sherry Browne, Entrepreneurs Conference program manager.

In addition, participants who arrive at the event early will be treated to a bonus session on wealth building on Wednesday, May 10. "This is a perfect opportunity to reward those attendees who arrive early that day,' says Browne.
