Make it and take it.

1. Clean a plastic potato-chip canister. Remove the cap and punch two holes near the top of the canister on opposite sides.

2. For a carrying handle, thread three feet of string, yarn, or cord through one hole and tie a large bead to the inside. String beads onto the handle. Knot above and below the beads to keep them from sliding. Thread the other end of the handle through the opposite hole and tie a large bead to the inside.

3. Punch a hole in the side of the cap and a hole in the canister near the top. Thread six inches of cord through the hole in the cap and tie a large bead to the inside. String beads onto the cord, and then thread the other end of the cord through the hole in the canister. Tie a large bead to the inside. This will keep the cap connected to the canister.

4. Decorate the canister with felt or craft foam.

How to use: Make one canister to hold your toothbrush and toothpaste for camping or sleepovers. Make another one for your sunglasses and sunscreen. Make another to hold first-aid supplies.
