Majestic Insurance Company Announces Another Insurance Fraud Conviction; Suspect Who Eluded Capture is Now behind Bars with Help from Llorente SIU.

Hernandez was working for a maintenance company when he filed a workers' compensation claim two months after an unreported and unwitnessed injury.

, Majestic asked its Contract Special Investigative Unit, Llorente SIU, to look into the matter. After some investigation, Llorente determined that Hernandez had been involved in a fight prior to filing the claim and that he sustained the same type of injury. The injury was documented by the Pasadena, Calif., Police Department.

Llorente SIU packaged and presented the case to law enforcement and criminal charges were filed. However, Hernandez fled Southern California before an arrest could be made. He was apprehended this year at the U.S./Mexico border during an effort to re-enter re·en·ter also re-en·ter

After pleading guilty, Hernandez was sentenced to 78 days in Los Angeles County jail, as well as five years of formal probation. During this probation, he is ordered to pay Majestic Insurance Company restitution of $13,458.64.
