Mainsoft ships MainWin XDE 1.4; Windows-to-UNIX Cross-Platform Development support for MFC 4.0, Winsock, and CDE.


CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 3, 1996--Mainsoft Corporation, provider of cross-platform development tools with true Windows API (application programming interface) compliance, began shipping MainWin XDE (eXtended Development Environment) 1.4 with new strategic features on May 15.

Supported Platforms

Current platforms include HP-UX HP's version of Unix that runs on its 9000 family. It is based on SVID and incorporates features from BSD Unix along with several HP innovations.
