Mahafil-e-Shabina across the country begins today.

ISLAMABAD, September 16, 2009 (Balochistan Times): The three night Mahafil-e-Shabina begin in all the major mosques of the country from today (Thursday) Huffaz will complete the recitation of the Holy Quran during Taraveeh during the three nights of Ramzanul Mubarak i.e. 27, 28 and 29th night. In Islamabad, Ministry of Religious affairs has finalized arrangements for Mehfil-e-Shabina at Faisal Mosque. Time of Isha prayer at the Mosque is 9.15 pm and Taraveeh of Mehfil-e-Shabina will begin at 9.30 pm. Badshahi Mosque and Data Darbar Mosque in Lahore, New Memon Mosque in Karachi, Madni Masjid in Peshawar and Masjid ul Mursaleen in Quetta as well as the big mosques in all the main cities will also organize the Mehfil-e-Shabina. Local administrations have made appropriate security arrangements at the venues of Mahafil-e-Shabina as well as set up sabeels. Transporters have also been asked to run buses and wagons to drop the worshippers from Mosques to their stops for their Sehri. Radio Pakistan and PTV have made special arrangements to directly broadcast the Mehfil-e-Shabina from all the big mosques in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta.
