Magnum d'Or Resources Inc. - Significant Mineralization in Hole No. MU0406.TORONTO -- Mr. John K. Yee, Chairman of Magnum d'Or Resources Inc. (OTCBB OTCBB See OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB). :MAGR) is pleased to report that Magnum has received a very favorable report from Rio Minerals concerning our first drill hole on the Arsenic Zone. A summary of the report is as follows: MAGNUM d'OR RESOURCES INC. UNDURSHIL GEOLOGICAL FIELDWORK SUMMARY Magnum d'Or Resources is pleased to report the completion of the first diamond drill hole on the Arsenic zone. The Arsenic zone comprises one phase of a multi-zone diamond drill exploration program carried out on the Shandi Property located 385 kilometers south of Ulaan Bataar, Mongolia. Drill hole MU04-06 was drilled from June 11 to June 14, 2004. The drill hole was targeted on a portion of a 600-meter long outcrop exposure with approximate east-west orientation. The outcrop exposure consists of erosionally resistant, coarse-grained rhyolite rhyolite, fine-grained light-colored acidic volcanic rock. Rhyolite is chemically the equivalent of granite, and is thus composed primarily of quartz and orthoclase feldspar with subordinate amounts of plagioclase feldspar, biotite mica, amphiboles, and pyroxenes. breccia, which has undergone geological mapping and rock sampling by field personnel since 2003. Sampling on the outcrop area has returned significant assay values in iron (up to 19.5%), arsenic (up to 2983 ppm), antimony (up to 1182 ppm), barium (up to 2002 ppm), and boron (up to 501 ppm). A synopsis of drill hole data for MU04-06 is as follows: Location Arsenic Zone - 281617E, 5002639N Azimuth North Dip - 70 degrees Depth 145 meters 0 - 7.3m Overburden 7.3 - 39.6m Granite: weak-moderately altered (Middle Riphean age), strong to fine chalcedonic chal·ced·o·ny also cal·ced·o·ny n. pl. chal·ced·o·nies A translucent to transparent milky or grayish quartz with distinctive microscopic crystals arranged in slender fibers in parallel bands. vein brecciation, includes a major fault at 18.5-28.0m, zone of strong fluorite fluorite (fl `ərīt) or fluorspar (fl veining vein·ing n. Mineralization Mineralization The process by which the body uses minerals to build bone structure. Mentioned in: Rickets mineralization, n the bioprecipitation of an inorganic substance. is locally concentrated throughout the section, with numerous semi-massive bands throughout. Significant zones of greater than 20% pyrite are found at 62.4-66.5m and at 71.9-76.4 m 76.4 - 77.6m Rhyolite: dike with trace pyrite 77.6 - 133.7m Altered granite: strong-intense quartz-sericite-clay alteration, plus or minus (localized potassic) with pervasive, sporadic pyrite fracture fills/vein replacements, pervasive fine grain disseminated pyrite plus or minus arsenopyrite throughout main zone of strong alteration (77.6-133.7m), estimated 0.5 - 1.0% sulphides throughout this zone. 133.7 - 145.0m Granite: fresh, mainly unaltered, and coarse-grained. The Company is extremely pleased with the mineralization encountered in drill hole MU04-06. The mineralization is considered a new discovery, and strong possibilities are indicated for the presence of favorable gold and silver values with associated antimony and arsenic. The geochemical signature, geologic environment, and mineralization styles suggest strong potential for an epithermal gold-silver discovery. Core samples have been prepared for assay submission and results are expected within the next two to three weeks. Drill hole MU04-07 has been located approximately 300 meters west of drill hole MU04-06. The hole was begun on June 15, 2004 in an area of intensive hematitic he·ma·tite n. A black or blackish-red to brick-red mineral, essentially Fe2O3, the chief ore of iron. [Middle English emathite, ematites, from Latin breccia.
