Magnetek Appoints Regional Sales Managers for Power Electronic Products.

:MAG) has announced the appointment of David Weatherford and Frank Gurley as Central and Eastern Regional Sales Managers for its Power Electronics Group, respectively. Both are exceptionally well qualified in power technology, having served the industry both regionally and nationally for over 20 years.

Prior to joining Magnetek, David Weatherford was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for CompTech Sales in Dallas. CompTech is a leading manufacturers' representative company specializing in active and passive components with primary focus on power, interconnect and custom solutions. Before that, he was a Key Account Sales Engineer for Fralia Company and Associates, a leading passive and electro-mechanical manufacturers' representative company based in Euless, TX. He received his formal education in Marketing and Finance at Southern Methodist University Southern Methodist University, at Dallas, Tex.; United Methodist; coeducational; chartered 1911. The school's facilities include laboratories for electron microscopy and stable isotopes, a museum of paleontology, and a graduate research center. .

Frank Gurley comes to Magnetek from Martek Power, Inc. (formerly CDI CDI compact disc interactive: a system for storing a mix of software, data, audio, and compressed video for interactive use under processor control ), where he was Southeast Regional Sales Manager, responsible also for worldwide distribution. Previously, he was U.S. Sales Manager for Martek, and served in electronics sales and engineering management posts for such companies as Powercube, Datel and Teledyne, where he was Director of Engineering.
