Magnasync enhances Specialist line. (New Products).

Magnasync Corporation recently announced that its line of Specialist recorders has been enhanced with the release of the Express and Enterprise models. Express recorders were designed for smaller recording and branch operations. They feature recording up to 120 channels within a single module. Enterprise recorders offer recording to 256 channels-per-module with a redundant design, featuring modular fans, dual, hot-swap power supplies, and hard disk drives. All Magnasync recorders are designed based on industry standards such as an ODBC-compliant database, ActiveX controls and Microsoft Windows 2000 compatibility. Encore, Magnasync's browser application, provides Web-based recording-system access featuring zero maintenance for desktop PCs. This can help reduce the cost of setup and maintenance costs by eliminating an operating-system-dependent client application. IT departments no longer need to maintain a recorder application on user desktop PCs. Encore also permits secure Internet access to the recording sys tem. This can be of benefit to customer-care personnel operating from a mixed-desktop environment who maintain enterprisewide solutions through corporate WAN, and service personnel working remotely or through branch locations. Magnasync Ascend was designed to provide a quality management solution for Magnasync recorders. Ascend features scheduling for predefined recording of agent phones, user-friendly scoring and evaluation form creation, and reporting and report exporting for customers with specific reporting requirements.
