(Nasdaq:MGLN) today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement with CIGNA CIGNA CG (Connecticut General Life Insurance Company) INA (Insurance Company of North America) HealthCare with respect to the provision of radiology radiology, branch of medicine specializing in the use of X rays, gamma rays, radioactive isotopes, and other forms of radiation in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. network management and other related services that had been the subject of the non-binding letter of intent with CIGNA that the Company had announced on October 25, 2006. Consistent with previous disclosures, the definitive agreement covers approximately three million CIGNA HealthCare members in 12 states, over half of which members Magellan will serve on a risk basis. The definitive agreement is for an initial term of 45 months beginning on the date of the first implementation, rather than 36 months as stated in the letter of intent. As previously disclosed, annual revenue upon full implementation of the contract is estimated to be over $200 million.
