The Southwood neighborhood in Tallahassee, Fla., was the number one choice on the list because of its 1,000 acres of parks, lakes and open space amid the 3,200-acre area. Other communities listed include Tioga in Gainesville, Baldwin Park Baldwin Park, city (1990 pop. 69,330), Los Angeles co., S Calif., a suburb of Los Angeles, in the fertile San Gabriel valley; settled 1870, inc. 1956.
