Madison State Hospital Implementing QuadraMed Medication Management System.

RESTON, Va. -- QuadraMed(R) Corporation (Amex:QD) today announced that Madison State Hospital, a facility of the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA), is implementing a QuadraMed medication management system.

The functionality of the Inpatient module features Pharmacy Access, Executive Report Manager, Pharmacokinetics and POC Intervention. Among its benefits are care intervention tracking, user-defined clinical rules, utilization analysis and management reports in full JCAHO compliance.

QuadraMed Point of Care MAR promotes medication safety by positively identifying the care provider, patient and medication with bar code scanning. This application integrates with the Inpatient module and gives customers total flexibility in terms of hardware and network, including wireless, while seamlessly interfacing with other legacy systems.
