And once she gets back to Malawi, it is believed that the singer will allow dad Yohane to see how well tot David is doing living the British lifestyle.

But farmer Yohane, 32, said: "Officially, I have not heard anything but I am excited and I hope there will be an opportunity to see my son."

Yohane also insisted he had "no regrets" about agreeing the adoption but was concerned Madonna had not kept in touch.

He added: "I understand that she is a busy person but if there is an opportunity, I would appreciate it if she could tell me how my son is doing."

Yesterday, Madonna's documentary crew met her security staff arriving from South Africa South Africa, Afrikaans Suid-Afrika, officially Republic of South Africa, republic (2005 est. pop. 44,344,000), 471,442 sq mi (1,221,037 sq km), S Africa. .

As preparations were made for the pop star's arrival in the capital Lilongwe, a fleet of jeeps took the party to a secret location.

Officials denied the singer had made any approach to them on a second adoption.
