"The totality of the facts clearly demonstrates that the Government prevented, through its denials, delays, and threats, any economically viable use of MID's property. The facts also show that the Government agencies targeted MID's land for preservation, while at the same time recommending the denial of a permit to develop the property. The Government's overall goal was to preserve the property by obtaining ownership of the property, which could only be accomplished by denying any reasonably viable development of the property," said Ronald E. Reynolds, of Berry Reynolds & Rogowski, PC attorney for Made In Detroit, Inc. "The Government and their allies have consistently thought that they could destroy Made In Detroit, through their financial resources, manpower, and delays.
