National "Wear Red Day"

To kick off American Heart Month Macy's is encouraging customers to participate in "Wear Red Day" on February 2 by offering a 15 percent savings pass for those donning the iconic heart health color. Customers not wearing red can make a $2 donation and receive a Go Red For Women Red Dress pin and the 15 percent off pass. All donations will benefit the AHA's Go Red For Women movement.

Exclusive Product to Benefit Go Red For Women

Additionally, Macy's stores will be selling two exclusive products with a portion of sale proceeds benefiting Go Red for Women. The first is Kiss & Tell - a Macy's custom-published book featuring the kiss confessions and lip prints of 51 of today's hottest celebrities. The book will be available only at Macy's and macys.com with 10 percent of the sale proceeds benefiting the AHA. The second is a special Go Red Clarins lipstick with a dollar of each sale benefiting the AHA.

Go Red on "What Not To Wear"

Macy's and Go Red For Women are also jointly participating in an episode of TLC's "What Not to Wear" featuring a wardrobe makeover to match the life transformation of a heart disease survivor. The episode will raise awareness among the show's largely female audience of the Go Red movement and will incorporate information on heart health. The episode will air in early March.
