MacMillan/McGraw-Hill, an elementary school elementary school: see school.  publishing unit of McGraw-Hill The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc., (NYSE: MHP) is a publicly traded corporation headquartered in Rockefeller Center in New York City. Its primary areas of business are education, publishing, broadcasting, and financial and business services.  Education, has formed a partnership with the nationally broadcast radio program From the Top to enhance its music curriculum, Spotlight Spotlight can refer to at least three types of lighting:
  • a searchlight;
  • stage lighting used in theatre to focus an audience's attention on a performer or event, known as a Followspot;
 on Music.

Spotlight on Music includes the latest research in music education and technology, helping teachers to shape classroom instruction to fit their needs and introduces students to a lifelong love of music.

From the Top, based at the New England Conservatory of Music New England Conservatory of Music, at Boston, Mass.; coeducational; est. 1867, chartered and opened 1870. It is closely associated with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Berkshire Music Center at Tanglewood.  in Boston, showcases the best of America's young classical musicians recorded live in prestigious concert venues across the country. It is heard on 250 stations coast to coast.

In partnership with From the Top, Macmillan spotlights thirty-seven of its young musicians, ages 9 to 18, in Spotlight on Music via the curricula's textbooks and audio CDs.
