The all-new Power Mac G4 line features two models that are the

first mainstream personal computers to come standard with dual

processors. The 450MHz and 500MHz Power Mac G4s each contain

dual PowerPC G4 processors with Apple's "Velocity Engine."

When running applications like Adobe (Nasdaq: ADBE) Photoshop,

the dual processor 500MHz Power Mac G4 available for sale

today is as fast as the 2GHz Intel Pentium III to be released

a year or more from now. Even more electrifying is the fact

that the new Power Mac G4s are being sold for the same price

as the old models! A 400MHz single processor, 20GB model is

$1,599. The 450Mhz, 30GB dual processor model is $2,499, and

the 500MHz, 40GB dual processor model is $3,499.

design, an entirely new class of computer delivers Power Mac

G4 performance in an eight-inch cube! The G4 Cube is suspended

in a stunning crystal-clear enclosure that is one-fourth the

size of most PCs, yet it houses a 450MHz PowerPC G4 processor

with Apple's "Velocity Engine" that reaches supercomputer

speeds of over three billion calculations per second

(Gigaflops). The G4 Cube offers up to 1.5GB memory and up to

August.

range in price from an entry-level machine at $799 to a

30GB. The iMac DV models include iMovie 2, the next version of

software. All models are available now except the $799 model,

which is due out in September.
