Fictional Character Biography Robert "Bobby" Pendragon was a fairly average fourteen year old boy and suburban basketball star living in the fictional suburb of Stony Brook, , fresh from a deadly encounter with Saint Dane Saint Dane is a fictional character and main villain in the Pendragon series. He is an evil Traveler who wants to break down Halla so he can rebuild it in his own design. However, it is never mentioned which territory he is actually from. , finds an invitation to the Games of Quillan, and off he goes to a fresh Territory. The people of Quillan are quite fond of games, and of gambling, but the stakes if one loses are grim indeed. In no time at all, Bobby finds himself a Challenger in the biggest Games of the world, where winning is everything and the losers leave in a coffin.
