 MYRON ROEDER TO HEAD WORLDWIDE MARKETING FOR TROPICANA
 BRADENTON, Fla., July 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Tropicana Products, Inc.


today announced that Myron A. Roeder will assume responsibility for the company's worldwide marketing efforts as president, International and Global Marketing. He will continue to report to William G. Pietersen, president of Tropicana.
 Roeder will now be responsible for all marketing programs in the countries where Tropicana's products are sold -- the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France and Japan. He will also continue to be responsible for the strategic development and expansion of Tropicana's premium juice and juice beverages outside of North America.
 "The successful launch of Tropicana into new markets around the world is a direct result of Myron's leadership and an example of his expertise in international business development," stated Pietersen. He added: "The Tropicana name is a tremendous asset. As we continue to expand Tropicana's brands globally, we will require a single marketing focus that will further develop our global consumer franchise. We have great confidence in Myron's ability to be as successful in this effort as he has been in all of his other achievements."

 Roeder joined The Seagram Company Ltd., Tropicana's parent company, in 1982. He has served as president of Seagram Far East and Seagram Europe, the largest division among Seagram's international operations. He has also served as executive vice president, Marketing and Business Development for Seagram International. In 1989 he was named Tropicana's executive vice president and president of Tropicana's International Group.
 Tropicana is the leading brand of orange juice in the United States and is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Seagram Company Ltd.
